男,博士(澳大利亞中央昆士蘭大學)。致力于地熱能利用技術、新能源技術經濟學等領域的研究工作。主持國家自然科學基金青年基金1項,湖南省自然科學基金面上項目1項,參與國家自然科學基金4項。參與湖南省“十三五”規劃前期研究重大課題,長沙市“十三五”及中長期能源發展戰略、政策與行動計劃研究等決策咨詢課題。參與橫向課題10余項。

已發表英文專著1部,參與英文編著1部。以第一作者或者通訊作者發表論文30余篇,其中在國際SCI、EI收錄期刊發表論文30余篇,JCR一區12篇,JCR二區3篇。截止2019年6月,發表的期刊最高影響因子10.6,最高引用次數為113次,總引用次數627次,總他引次數564次,每項平均引用17.5次。H因子15。有1篇入選ESI工程學前千分之一高被引論文,3篇入選ESI工程學前百分之一高被引論文。

2. 新能源技術:深層地熱儲層評估、高溫地熱發電系統優化設計、淺層地熱能綜合利用與系統集成,可再生能源建筑技術;

3. 工程熱物理與能源利用的基礎問題:傳熱學反問題、熱力學參數估計;

4. 能源系統工程:可再生能源利用系統仿真與優化.
