How to Slash Your Productivity for $4
I saw some Lincoln Logs at a Flea Market (We call it a Boot Sale) and decided to pick them up for nostalgic reasons. Hey, they were only the equivalent of $4 so how can you possibly go wrong. They sat in my office for a day or two until I finally opened them today. It took me all of about 5 minutes for my childhood to come back and start making catapults with them. Not sure if anyone else did this but I always criss crossed them, then put one of the long ones on the top like a seesaw. If you then “loaded” one of the small ones on the end and hit the other end with your palm, they fly across the room.
So I spent half the day trying to get them into the garbage can in the corner of the office. My record was 4 in a row which is pretty impressive given I was launching from an elevated position and from one corner of the room to the other. Anyway, I am going to have to get rid of these things because they are hurting productivity big time.
